Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more to us than pride. When we get something wrong, we correct it — promptly and transparently.

How to report a factual error

To report an error in one of our articles, please include:

  • The article URL — a link to the story containing the error.
  • The passage — quote it or describe where it appears in the article.
  • A source that helps us verify the correction — a link or reference we can check.

Send corrections to INFO@REDEYEEAGLE.COM or use the form on our Contact Us page.

How corrections are reviewed

Every correction report is checked by our newsroom against the source provided and our own sourcing for the story. If the error is verified, we fix it promptly. If a claimed error cannot be verified, we will not change the article — the same verification standard that governs our reporting applies to corrections.

How corrections are noted

When a factual error is corrected, we update the article and add a brief correction note to the page stating what was changed and when, so readers always see an accurate and transparent record.
